Our own infinately adjustable spring plates specifically designed for 54-67 Splitscreen Buses. Ideal if you are keeping original Split rear suspension but you want to be able to adjust the height without constant dismantling of its system. Also corrects worn or incorrectly set rear torsion springs.
We had an original VW spring plate analysed for material contact and tensile strength before selecting the modern day equivelent. We then laser cut the material for accuaracy. A CNC machined broached boss is then TIG welded into the spring plate. Take a look at the quality of welding its a work of art ! Adjustors allow careful dialling in of wheel clearance after fitment. Features handbrake cable hole for stock cable use. Supplied with new rubber donuts and packing spacers. Supplied with fitting instructions.
DAVES NOTES:
Beware of spring plates that are NOT made of tensile steel, given time they are likley to fatigue. Tensile steel will normally have a coarse grain unlike smooth mild steel plate.
