The highest quality repro Safaris available in the world. We are the only company to extrude the correct shape channel for our frames in aluminium. Not only will they not rust, they are far more torsional ridged than our competitors. This is achieved by the fact that ours are double walled, a channel within a channel exactly as Volkswagen made them. To compliment our frames we include in our kit, the best seals money can buy as we recognize that leaks are the biggest problem for Safari owners. Whilst no one can totally guarantee against leaks, we can be sure that our seal works better than any other including N.O.S. original VW item. It is worth remembering that Safaris were originally designed and marketed for countries with little rain fall. Our kits include new frames, new toughened safety glass, polished stainless steel slides and catch clips, catches with the correct stainless steel bases, stainless wing bolts, inner and outer body brackets, inner and outer rubber seals, wiper disengagers and a “one eyed duck”. Our stainless steel handles are cast here in the UK, made alongside the famous Rolls-Royce flying lady! We now stock them in two finishes:
